My 2 Cents on Online Video Game Rental

Perhaps this should be called "My One Cent on Online Video Game Rental" for thats all I really have to offer on the subject. I haven't given Gamefly a test ride.

I don't own an X-Box, Playstation, Gamecube, or any other console gaming system. I'm a tried and true PC Gamer. If I can't play it with a mouse and keyboard, I don't have much interest in it.

However, once upon a time, my friend let me borrow his Playstation for a while. I went to
Block Buster to rent a video game. I think it was a 3 day rental.

Now I'm the kinda guy that HAS to finish a game once started, or else I'm just a failure! So,
needless to say, every waking and available hour was dedicated to beating the game before it had to be returned. Though it added another element of drama to the game play, I would rather not have worried about it as I stayed up until 3 in the morning.

SO, if Gamefly is anything like the Online DVD Rental service, it would be awesome for dedicated console gamers (or owners of GameBoy Advance). The bonuses would be the same.

1. No Due Dates! - No worries about beating that game on time. Take your sweet old time and get some rest. Return it when you've beat it!

2. Free Shipping - To and from. Aside from your membership, you're paying nothing else.

3. Always Got a Game Handy - It's great getting stuff in the mail, and would be nice to have new games you've never played before, coming regularly.

An added bonus that the Online DVD rental places don't provide is the...

Keep It! option - If you really like the game you've got. Log in to Gamefly and click the
"Keep It" button. And you can buy it for a low pre-played game price!

Gamefly carries over 1500 titles for PS2, Xbox, GameCube, and Game Boy.

The FREE TRIAL really is FREE so give it a shot. If it's like Netflix or Clean Films, and I'm sure it is, you'll get hooked!
